The project resolved the problem of slack adjuster cover plate loosing even sliding off easily. There are not any rivets between cover plate and body of slack adjuster to fix the both, but the rivets and the body are combined as a entity, actually the rivets are the protruded part of the slack adjuster body, so that the slack adjusters have much longer life, 2 years.

The project resolved the problem that dust gets into slack adjusters easily so as to cause the adjustement couldn`t be made correctly with the clearance between the brake drum and lining. The dust cover is set on the external end of adjuster shaft which is on the side of the slack adjuster body.

The project resolved the problem of the hackle spline of worm wheel and worm shaft without self-lock function, and it`s a structure and technology innovation in hackle spline of worm wheel and worm shaft. The spline shape in cross section is that the both sides are line shape; the both sides said decline at different angles; the root of spline is arc shape. The line shape of worm wheel and worm shaft sides cause self-lock when worm wheel and worm shaft joggle. The technology has a certain extension of significance.
